The Enfield is missing some original parts
and I am looking for them. Can you help?

1928 is a transition year so it's not so
easy to know how it left the works at Redditch.
Primary chain case : This one has been
hacked around to make the replacement mag fit.
Carb : Does anyone know what the
original should have been? (AMAC, B&B?). I have found a period road test from 1928 and this bike was equiped with an AMAC (UPDATE: I now have a nice period AMAC PJ which has been renovated').
Drive chain cover
ML Round magneto (UPDATE: I now have a very nice round ML)
Footrests (I now have a new pair of these)
Toolboxes (I now have a new pair of these)
The mudguards I think are correct even
through a catalogue will show the older type. In 1928 there was a change
to the saddle tank models and the mudguards changed at this time. |
